Our Story
It all began at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Joe and I were both chasing our dreams in Aeronautics. Our college years were filled with laughter, a little studying, and memories shared with our lifelong friends from Greek life.
Fast-forward to February 25, 2023. Joe arranged the most beautiful surprise proposal at Pass-A-Grille Beach, near our home in Saint Petersburg. Little did I know that what I thought was a casual drive to the beach to catch the sunset would turn into one of the most memorable moments of my life.
I couldn't quite understand why Joe was in such a rush to park the car by the beach. After all, we had plenty of time before the sun went down. Of course, he found a parking spot with a $90 fine attached to it, and I made it abundantly clear that he'd be footing the bill if we ended up with a ticket. Surprisingly, he agreed without hesitation, which was definitely out of character for him. Still, I remained blissfully clueless as Joe hurriedly pulled me across the beach, dodging a wedding ceremony and sandcastles, to a spot covered with pink and red rose petals. Joe's proposal left me speechless, and I said yes amidst cheers from beachgoers. If you ever get the chance, definitely ask Joe to tell you the story of our proposal. Trust me, it's even funnier than my humble attempt at recounting it.
Now, we call the beautiful Tampa Bay area home, where we share our home with our adorable cat, Mika, and our energetic golden retriever puppy, Goose. We spend most of our time with our friends or exploring the beauty of Florida on adventures with Goose.
We're beyond grateful to have each and every one of you in our lives, and we can't wait to create more memories together.
